The Walhallah dish !!

What is Marrocan national dish ? every body says « Couscous »
What’s the most famous Italian dish? Of course : “Spaghetti”
What’s the most appreciate dish in KSA ? easy is “el kabseh”
What’s the 1st thing that you ask about when you visit Turkey ? sure it’s “ kebab”
And NOW :
What’s the National English dish? Tandoori !!
What’s the most demanded food in Lund ( Sweden) ? Falafel !!

For those who feel astonished because of these latest answers, the Tandoori is a Hindi delicious dish made of chicken or gamba ( shrimps) , generally served with rice, and the falafel are a kind a fried vegetable imported to Sweden by the middle east migrant !
And what’s the link shall you say?
That , during my stay in UK, I’ve never find an English restaurant except “the fish and ships” restaurants !! Pizza ? sure, Chinese? Every where, Italian? Yes of course…
Even the Hindi restaurants , sometimes we have to be early because it will be impossible to find a sit after 07 pm, by the way , I say “bohut shukriah” to the owner of “Tandoori Restaurant” situated near the Co-Op of Birmingham and just in the front of “the Three Horse Shoes” pub .( I used to go there and he played Hindi song for me !).
And during my stay in Lund, I tasted many dishes : Greek, Tai, Italian, Chinese, Persian and of course Hindi !
But only twice that I tasted the Swedish one:1st one during our trip in Skane (unforgettable) and the last dinner (hopefully not that of the Bible !! ) with my newly friend in Lund, really I appreciate ,even though I ignore the ingredient and If it was hyper calories ranked one !!...
All that I remember that they treated us , as the guests of Her majesty and served us in a very nice plate and cool ambiance and decor …
It is really nice to have different cuisine to taste; the intercultural aspect is too much noticed which created an ambiance of a global village…but I still think that the cuisine is a single part of a country’s heritage, should be preserved and protected…and I hope that the next time I’ll go to Sweden they will not say “the only Swedish food is served in Walhalla !!” *

PS : the Walhalla is the Paradise in the Scandinavian mythology.
